Fear

In the depths of my heart, a fear does reside,

The thought of losing her, I cannot hide.

For she’s the anchor that steadies my sail,

Without her, I fear I’ll drift and fail.

Her love, a beacon that guides me through,

In her presence, my worries subdue.

But the thought of her absence chills my soul,

A void so vast, it consumes me whole.

I fear not having her by my side,

The thought of it all, I can’t abide.

Her laughter, her warmth, her tender touch,

Losing her would hurt so much.

She’s the light in the darkness, my guiding star,

Without her, life feels so bizarre.

The thought of her gone, it cuts so deep,

An ache in my heart, I cannot keep.

I cherish every moment we’ve shared,

In her love and care, I’m repaired.

But the fear remains, a haunting dread,

Of a future without her, my heart is fed.

So, I’ll hold her close, cherish each day,

In her love, my fears allay.

I’ll treasure every smile, every kiss,

For with her, life feels like pure bliss.

And if the day comes when she’s not near,

I’ll cherish the memories we hold dear.

For her love, a gift, I’ll always keep,

In my heart, forever, her love will leap.
